National Youth Orchestra on tour in settlements of Moldova

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - The National Youth Orchestra, led by Andriano Marian, has recently given three concerts in Balti, Drochia and Soroca. The Orchestra sang songs of 1980s, by well-known Moldovan artists.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Andriano Marian said that, during years, Moldovan National Youth Orchestra had been promoting an open society through music. According to Marian, the tour, Small Country – Sweet Song!, is a project through which the organizers were set to convey emotions and the nostalgia of the 1980s, as well as the true value of Moldova’s great musicians.

The national music tour, Small Country – Sweet Song!, is organized by the National Youth Orchestra of Moldova, along with the Culture Ministry and Education and Research Ministry, with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
