Exhibition by Moldovan fine artist inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - A painting exhibition titled, Chisinau City during Time, by fine artist Galina Vieru was inaugurated at the National history museum of Moldova today.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Galina Vieru said the exhibition comprised 18 painting works made in the last two years.

Galina Vieru was born in the Putintei village, central Orhei district, in 1983. She graduated from the Fine Arts and Design Faculty of the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University from Chisinau in 2005. Afterwards, Vieru had master education at the same institution during 2005-2006. In 2006-2007, she was teacher of fine art education at the Chisinau-based Nicolae Balcescu theoretical lyceum, as well as at the Univers Moldova vocational school, where she taught design.

In 2012-2014, Galina Vieru had personal exhibitions at the National Library of Moldova, Organ Hall, B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library, Chisinau-based Consulate of Romania, Palace hall from Bucharest.

The exhibition will be opened till 30 November.
