Moldovan electoral body starts printing of ballot papers for new local polls

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today started the printing of ballot papers for the new local polls due on 16 October 2022. As many as 6,013 ballot papers were printed for those three settlements: Salcuta, Ialpujeni and Braniste.
According to CEC, 3,729 ballot papers are to be printed for the elections due in the Salcuta village, Causeni district; 1,279 ballot papers – for the Ialpujeni commune, Cimislia district and 1,005 ballot papers – for the Braniste commune, Rascani district.
The price of one ballot paper is 1.32 lei. The overall value of all ballot papers is of about 8,000 lei (400 euros).
