Commission for Emergency approved necessary measures to ensure public order

Chisinau, Oct. 13 /MOLDPRES/- The holding of meetings with the blocking of traffic lanes, transport arteries or access and evacuation routes to public institutions will be prohibited on working days. On days off, these meetings may be held for a maximum of four hours. A decision on the matter was approved today by the Commission for Emergency to ensure public order, access to free movement on the country's roads, as well as in order to ensure a prompt reaction to situations that require emergency interventions, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
At the same time, if during the meeting, some participants violate public order, incite discrimination or violence, incite war or aggression or organize mass disturbances, the police can remove them even without the involvement of the organizer, in case of his inaction. At the same time, if the listed actions are seriously violated, the police can ask the organizer to stop the meeting immediately and without the involvement of the representative of the local public authority.
Also, CSE members noted the alert situation on the energy market, and in order to ensure energy security during the emergency period, Moldovagaz was allowed to extend until 30 November the deadline for payment of the import rights of natural gas transported through pipelines in April - October 2022.
According to the CSE decision, the Public Association National Congress of Ukrainians from Moldova will be able to export humanitarian aid as medicinal products, without the application of economic policy measures, established by the legislation in force for the type of goods declared, and without the approval issued by the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency. The list of goods will be established by the Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
