Agro-industrial Week 2022 inaugurated at MOLDEXPO exhibition centre

Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - Over 200 companies from Moldova, Austria, Italy, Romania and Ukraine exhibit innovations, technologies and equipment for the agro-industrial sector, phyto-sanitary products and fertilizers at the Moldexpo exhibition centre on 13-16 October. The Agro-industrial Week includes international specialized exhibitions Moldagrotech, the 40th issue, and Farmer, the 25th edition, as well as the Golden Autumn fair.     

The task of the agrarian exhibition event from this year is to prove the viability and capacity of the branch, even in a difficult year, marked by drought.

„The exhibition event from this year has an outstanding weight for the agro-industrial complex. Organized annually, the exhibitions establish the vector of development of agriculture and proves, in the present conditions, that, despite the difficulties, the innovation is the solution to the national agro-businesses. Big subsides have been provided to the small producers from Moldova in the last year. In all, already over 37 per cent of the means of the subsidization fund were distributed to small producers and about 25 per cent was provided for the purchasing of agricultural technology,’’ Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea said at the launch event.       

Combines, tractors, other machines and equipment for agriculture’s mechanization are displayed at the MOLDAGROTECH exhibition. Specialized scientific institutions promote new technologies available, meant to enhance the efficiency of the processes of cultivation and processing of agricultural products. 

The supply of the FARMER exhibition and fair includes products of farmers, such as technologies, materials for an efficient work of the agrarian business. Combined fodder, veterinary medicines, preparations used in animal husbandry are also displayed in stands.  

At the traditional Golden Autumn fair, people can buy vegetables, fruits, berries, honey, apicultural products, etc. directly from producers.
