Moldovan actress marks birthday

Chisinau, 17 October /MOLDPRES/ - A film and theatre actress, employed at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, People’s Artist Angela Ciobanu marks her birthday today.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, actor, stage manager, People’s Artist Vitalie Rusu said that Angela Ciobanu was an exceptional colleague and actress.

Angela Ciobanu was born in the northern Soroca city on 17 October 1969. In 1992, she graduated from the Nemirovici-Dancheko School-Studio of the Moscow Art Academy Theatre named after A.P. Chekhov, specialty of theatre and movie actor.

She played over 80 parts in plays and films.

In 2009, Angela Ciobanu was awarded the honorific title of Merited Artist from Moldova and in 2021 – People’s Artist. She is laureate of more prizes awarded at the Gala of the Theatre Union of Moldova.
