Customs officers found undeclared collectible coins, cameras

Chisinau, Oct. 19 /MOLDPRES/- Customs employees found several undeclared collectible coins and cameras at the Leușeni crossing point.

According to the Customs Service, the objects would have historical and cultural value. Thus, according to the legislation, they require to be declared and presented the permissive documents when crossing the border.

The goods were found in a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, which was traveling from Great Britain to the Republic of Moldova with luggage and unaccompanied parcels. A 30-year-old man was driving the car.

Following the customs control, collections of coins and cameras were found in two bags, which were not declared to the customs body. All goods have been seized and are to be subjected to expert examination.
