Salaries of staff from public medical, sanitary institutions to increase in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The staff of the public medical and sanitary institutions, who is included in the mandatory health insurances system, will receive higher salaries by an average of 10 per cent and the leadership personnel – by 5.5 per cent, starting from October 2022. The cabinet today took a decision to this end at a meeting in the western Ungheni city, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.        

The draft sees also a higher increase in the monthly office salaries for the physicians specialists of surgical profile who operate on, physicians endoscopists, physicians anesthesiologists-reanimatologists and other physicians specialists and pharmacists from the district institutions, with the goal to exclude the inequities between the physicians who work in district institutions and the ones working at republican, municipal and regional institutions, who have the same qualification and contribute to the medical act to the same extent.    

It is worth mentioning that, as of 1 September this year, the office salaries of the employees from the public sector institutions of the health system were increased by 5.5 per cent.
