Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, on a visit to Bucharest, was received by the Custodian of the Crown of Romania, Margareta, and Prince Radu at the Elisabeta Palace on 1 November afternoon, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The discussion was a continuation of another one, held in Chisinau several days ago on Moldova’s efforts in the European integration process and the support which the Royal Family of Romania might provide to the country on this way. The parliament speaker thanked the representatives of Romania’s Crown for the generous support they provide Moldova each time.
During the 1 November visit to Romania, the parliament speaker also met a group of students born in Moldova, who study in Bucharest. Igor Grosu informed them about the situation in Moldova and the efforts of the governance to attenuate the current crises. The sides discussed young people’s involvement in Moldova’s social and political life and the speaker urged them to become part of the process of Moldova’s transformation following the faculty’s graduation. ‘’We are waiting them at home especially now, when the European integration process becomes reality and we must advance with reforms in all sectors,’’ Igor Grosu noted.
Another subject discussed with the young people was the justice reform and what is going to happen to all those who impoverished Moldova in the last years. The parliament speaker gave assurances that the zero priority of the authorities remained the justice reform and the calling to account of all those who had robbed Moldova. ‘’We will not give up, despite all pressures to which we are subjected by these oligarchs. We are resolute to move on our European integration up to the end and with such young people, I am sure that our way is an irreversible one,’’ the parliament speaker added.
