Moldovan president meets French envoy

Chisinau, Nov. 3 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met on Wednesday with French Ambassador to Chisinau Paul Graham. The agenda of the discussions focused on bilateral cooperation and current challenges of Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

In this context, Maia Sandu expressed gratitude to France and President Macron for the continuous support in the European integration process and the significant help during the last year and a half in several sectors.

Maia Sandu said that the situation in the energy sector is becoming increasingly complicated, and Moldova relies on the support of external partners to get through this winter more easily. The officials discussed the organization of the next meeting of the Support Platform for Moldova, due this month in Paris, and the priorities of our country for this meeting.
