Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and Ambassador of the United States to Moldova Kent Logsdon have discussed the latest up-to-date events, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The discussions were focused on the parliament’s agenda and the reforms in Moldova. The parliament speaker reiterated that the justice reform was in full swing. ‘’Even if we would like the reform to take place quicker, unfortunately, the changes last, the resistance is great; yet, we will not stop and will move up to the end,’’ Igor Grosu said.
In the context, the parliament speaker thanked the U.S. Ambassador for the support provided by the American partners to consolidate the public institutions and in the carrying out of reforms in the key sectors of Moldova.
The officials exchanged opinions on the unprecedented crises faced by Moldova and the support the country receives from friends and partners. ‘’We will do our utmost to help the citizens overcome this complicated winter, which is a direct consequence of Russia’s invasion in Ukraine,’’ the parliament speaker added.
