Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency (ASP) has informed that, starting from today, all Moldova’s citizens were able to process their identity acts (identity cards, driver’s licences and registration certificates) on poly-carbonate without restrictions, for all terms and without presenting confirmatory documents, if the applicant applies for documents urgently.
According to ASP, the people who received temporary documents instead of acts on poly-carbonate will be contacted by Agency’s representatives in November and will be invited to the institution’s headquarters, in order to be given mechanically legible documents.
In September-October this year, the Public Services Agency moved to another system of data personalization, switching to a new technology of processing mechanically legible documents on poly-carbonate, with an enhanced degree of security. Most European countries, including Ukraine, have already switched to this technology.
