Moldova to get 100 million euro- loan for construction, rehabilitation of roads

Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova will receive a loan of 100 million euros for the construction and rehabilitation of roads. Today, the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration approved the initiation of negotiations with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to amend the loan agreement previously concluded with our country.

The money will be used for the rehabilitation of several road sectors in the country: road R14, R6 – Codrul Nou – Soroca - Unguri – border with Ukraine, on Soroca – Arionești sector; road R8.1, R8 – Arionești – R14, Arionești – Otaci; M3 road Chisinau – Comrat – Giurgiulești – border with Romania, bypass of Vulcănești; road R33 Hâncești – Lăpușna – M1.

The loan agreement was ratified in 2013.
