Job fair organized for first time at Balti University

Chisinau, Nov. 18 /MOLDPRES/- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, the Goethe-Institute Bucharest and the German Embassy in Chisinau organized yesterday a job fair at the Alecu Russo State University in Balti.

About 30 participating companies, most of them with foreign capital, presented their job offers for over a thousand young people, students and people. "The main objective of this fair is to identify training opportunities and employment prospects for young people, according to the needs of the labor market. I want to encourage young people, educational institutions and of course, economic agents to participate in dual education, which is a form of organization of the professional technical one, in which the theoretical training is carried out at the professional technical education institution, and the practical one - at unit (economic agent)", CCI head Sergiu Harea said.

Thematic workshops were held on topics related to public speaking, self-knowledge, writing a CV, recommendations for preparing a motivation letter etc.

A fair of this level was organized for the first time at the Alecu Russo State University in Balti, but this practice is expected to continue in the future.
