Ocniţa- Sokireanî, Mirnoe-Tabaki crossing points temporarily suspended activity

Chisinau, Nov. 21 /MOLDPRES/- The border crossing points Ocnița-Sokireanî and Mirnoe-Tabaki temporarily stopped their activity due to the disconnection of electricity on the Ukrainian side.

According to the Border Police, the Ukrainian authorities announced that the periodic interruption of electricity is due to technical failures recorded following the attacks of the Russian Federation on the country.

At the same time, Border Police press officer Raisa Novițchi said "due to some technical malfunctions in the database of the border authority of Ukraine, the crossing points Lipcani-Podvirievca and Medveja-Zelionaia are active after a special regime, only Ukrainian citizens being allowed to cross the border".

The authority recommends travelers to opt for other crossing points in the vicinity.
