Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - Some provisions of the Regulation on the assigning of energy vulnerability categories will be completed. The updated rules are contained in the Instruction of the Commission for Emergency Situation (CSE), which today held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
According to the CSE Instruction, in the case of the consumers who declared incomes thrice higher than the ones known in the state information systems and resources, the income known in the state resources will be used for calculating the energy vulnerability.
As for the households, where the consumption of gas in a certain month is smaller or equal to 2 cubic metres, the value equivalent to the half of the ceiling eligible for the calculation of the household’s expenses in the concerned month will be used for calculating the energy vulnerability.
As for the consumers who indicated the electric energy as the main source of heating, but who did not indicate the use of gas and thermal energy, the estimated cost of the solid fuels will be included in the calculation of the energy’s cost on the cold period of the year, under the provisions of the point 29 of the Regulation.
At the same time, the medium category of energy vulnerability will be assigned to the families, for which the cost of the energy is estimated at more than 10,000 lei per month on the cold period of the year.
As for the consumption of electric energy by joint fruit tree farms, the providers of energy will apply the price established for the consumers with high energy vulnerability, within the limit of a monthly volume of 75 kWh per one joint fruit tree farm.
Also, CSE adjusted the schedule of the turning off of the street illumination during the day. Thus, the street lamps will be turned off during 8:00-16:00.
