Films made at TeleFilm-Chisinau studio to be screened at museum from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - A string of documentaries made at the TeleFilm Chisinau Studio will be screened at the headquarters of the Museum of History of the Chisinau City on 5-10 December starting from 18:00.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the director of the museum, Valeria Suruceanu, said that, in this way, the Museum of History of the Chisinau City, in partnership with the TeleFilm Chisinau Studio, marked the European Cinema Night. Thus, free of charge screenings of films will be organized at movie theatres and other cultural institutions during five days.
According Suruceanu, for the fifth year in a row, the EU’s programme, Creative Europe MEDIA, joins the Europa Cinemas in the organization of the European Cinema Night – Sharing stories we love. This initiative is set to bring Europe closer to its citizens, celebrating, at the same time, the wealth and diversity of the European cinema culture, providing free of charge screenings all over Europe.
The TeleFilm Chisinau Studio was founded in 1967. Over 300 documentaries have been made at the studio. After 1989, were not quite friendly for the development of the cinematography and the Teleradio-Moldova Company, no longer having financial sources, gave up the Telefilm Chisinau studio.
