CSE ordered review of electricity tariffs

Chisinau, Dec. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Premier Energy and Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord company will forward to the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), within one working day from the date of signing the new electricity procurement contracts, the price adjustment request for the supply of electricity. The decision was approved at the meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița. The new tariffs, revised by ANRE, will be made public within 3 working days, with their application starting from the current December 2, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Another decision of the Commission concerns the coverage of expenses incurred for the management of the refugee crisis. The Ministry of Finance will allocate 275.5 thousand lei from the government intervention fund to the territorial social assistance structures, trained directly in the process of managing the migration flow and refugees. The money will be redirected to the district councils of Anenii Noi, Călărași, Ștefan Vodă, Telenești and Soroca, in order to grant the compensation increase for the work performed in conditions of increased health risk, between July and October this year.
At the same time, the amounts allocated to temporary placement centers for refugees from the Republic of Moldova were revised. 4352.5 thousand lei will be allocated for the maintenance of the temporary placement centers for refugees, established by the local public authorities of the first and second level, and for those created by the budgetary institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Research, the amount of 9 will be allocated, 9 thousand lei. At the same time, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will receive about 2254.5 thousand lei in order to cover the operating costs of the temporary placement centers for refugees, created by the budgetary institutions subordinate to the ministry, state enterprises, companies with a majority capital of state and non-commercial organizations.
In connection with the cessation of the basic activity of Moldexpo, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will cover the salary expenses of the personnel trained in the management of the Temporary Placement Center for refugees within Moldexpo for June - October 2022.
CSE members also decided that during the state of emergency, through the Mirnoe-Tabaki, Vulcănești-Vinogradovka and Giurgiulești-Reni crossing points of the Moldovan-Ukrainian state border, the import of petroleum products will be allowed, by means of vehicles.
Also, the validity period of the Environmental Authorization on waste management and the Authorization for the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere from fixed sources issued for the Moldova Metallurgical Plant was extended by 31 December 2022.
