Educators from Moldovan kindergartens to be able to replace institutions' heads, without being exempted from basic duties

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - The educators from kindergartens will be able to replace the institutions’ heads, without being exempted from the duties of the basic position. The members of the parliamentary commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media considered a draft to this effect at a today’s meeting.  

Under the document, the heads of the early education institutions, when they will be absent from work, will be able to set an additional volume of work for the educators due to replace them. For this, an order will be issued, which will show the position, volume of work and the period when the act is valid.

Thus, the concerned educators will benefit from a salary supplement for the holding of more offices, which will not exceed 100 per cent of the basic salary fitting the first degree I of salary payment of the temporarily absent head. The financial spending needed will be covered within the limit of the saving of means from the institution’s salary payment fund.  

According to the authors, the legislative amendments are necessary, given that a lack of staff is recorded in many kindergartens from Moldova.    

The legislative initiative is to be considered in parliament’s plenum.
