Moldovan government gives positive note to draft law on family-type services

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet today approved a positive note for the draft law on the alternative services of taking care of children, initiated by a group of MPs. It is about the child-care services organized by the employer at the working place, services of individualized care and family-type child-care services, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.        

The goal of the legislative initiative is the providing of services of care, growing, supervising and education for children up to the age of 3 years by a qualified servant, on the period when the parents or tutors of the children are at work. Thus, the access to work of people with children smaller than 3 years will be enhanced and the rate of employment of the residents able to work will grow.

The draft law regulates also the work of the alternative child-care services, the requirements, tasks and duties of the providers of services, the way of carrying out and their types, as well as the beneficiaries’ supervision and protection.
