Cost of permits for road transport operators to be reduced

Chisinau, Dec. 22 /MOLDPRES/- Cost of issuing permits for road transport operators will be reduced. A draft law was adopted today in the second reading by the Parliament.
According to the draft, the price for an annual CEMT (European Conference of Transport Ministers) multilateral authorization will be reduced from 580 to 240 euros, for short-term ones - from 50 to 20 euros, and the price of the authorization for international road transport will be 5 euros.
It also sees elimination of the need to pay customs duty for road tractors for semi-trailers, up to 7 years old. Also, the operating term is extended up to 10 years for vehicles intended for the transport of at least 10 people, including the driver.
