Chisinau, Dec. 23 /MOLDPRES/- Two groups of carolers crossed the threshold of the Moldovan government to sing Christmas carols and convey the emotions of the winter holidays to the government employees.
According to the government's communication and protocol department, a group of children, beneficiaries of the social services offered by the Concordia center, recited poems, sang carols and sowed the entire team of Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița's office with wheat.
Mocănașii from Slobozia Mare, Cahul district, came with an authentic carol, collected from the elders.
Gavrilița thanked the carolers for their good wishes and rewarded them with gifts.
"It's the end of the year and there's a lot of excitement here at the Government, but such moments are among the most beautiful in our activity. You managed to break us from the daily routine and connect us with the eternal, to make us go beyond the problems of the day, to admire and appreciate the traditions, the values that our country has. I'm glad and thank you for coming. It was a privilege to listen to you and delight our souls," said the Prime Minister.
The carol in the male choir of the male vocal group Mocănașii was included in 2013 in the UNESCO cultural heritage of humanity.
