Straseni Health Centre of Moldova endowed with advanced X-ray apparatus

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Straseni Health Centre has been endowed with an advanced X-ray apparatus.

According to the Straseni district council, the old apparatus, produced in 1978, was not coping with the requirements and the number of X-ray photographs made daily was limited.

The staff of the medical institution was trained to use the new apparatus; thus, the X-ray apparatus will be brought into service as of next January. The equipment was produced in Serbia and can be used also for children smaller than one year.

The value of the X-ray apparatus is of 2.1million lei (about 105,000 euros).The National Health Insurances Company contributed with 1.3 million lei, the Straseni district council – with 750,000 lei and the Straseni Health Centre – with 50,000 lei.
