Textbook for legislation's adjusting as key element for success of Moldova's integration in EU presented in Chisinau

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - The state secretary at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), Vladimir Cuc, has participated in an event on the launch of the Textbook of adjusting the legislation as key element for the success of the process of Moldova’s integration into the European Union. The textbook was made within an EU-financed project, Support for the structured political dialogue, coordinating the implementation of the Association Agreement and strengthening the process of legislation’s adjusting for Moldova.
According to MAEIE’s press service, attending the event were Head of the EU Delegation in Moldova Jānis Mazeiks, a state secretary at the government, Adrian Balutel, and the head of the centre for adjusting the legislation, Natalia Suceveanu.
„The European integration process needs a clear-cut transposition of the processes – which are presently covered in this book. The textbook will guide the civil servants in the transposition of the European legislation.
Also, along with the national institutions, we are in the process of setting up sectoral working groups for each chapter of accession – these will be the main structures. So, we have a clear methodology and we will create structures, in close cooperation with the State chancellery, Vladimir Cuc said.
The authors of the book, Primož Vehar and Vladimir Međak, presented the Textbook of adjusting the legislation as key element for the success of the process of Moldova’s integration into the European Union. They said that the edification of a rule of law state was an important element in the process of the country’s accession to EU.
