Moldovan president meets Prime Minister of the Netherlands

Chisinau, 19 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a meeting with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, the presidential press service has reported.

"I had a very good discussion with Mark Rutte, and I thanked for the support offered to Moldova. We will continue this cooperation in the democratic transformation of our country", said the head of state.

At the same time, Maia Sandu noted that the Kingdom of the Netherlands is an important partner of the Republic of Moldova in the European integration process.

Maia Sandu attends the 53rd edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on 17-19 January. During the event, the president has scheduled meetings with world leaders and high-level officials from several countries, as well as with representatives of the business environment.
