Several people of culture received state awards

Chisinau, 20 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Several people of culture from the Republic of Moldova received state awards. The awards decree was published in the Official Journal today.

According to the document, for prodigious activity in culture, significant contribution to the promotion of the spiritual values of the nation, remarkable successes in creative activity and high professional mastery, as well as on the occasion of the National Day of Culture, the Order of the Republic is awarded to director Vladimir Druc, screenwriter Dumitru Olărescu and fine artist Tudor Zbârnea.

The Order of Honor was awarded to Gheorghe Bulan, Nina Corcinschi and Jiří Nasinec.

The honorary title People's Artist was awarded to Timofei Bătrânu, Anatolie Magdîl, Ion Paladi and Maria Saca.
