Moldovan parliament speaker in Bucharest unveils opportunities of business, investment environment from Moldova

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, on a working visit to Bucharest, has participated in the New Year 2023 Reception organized by AHK Romania. The speaker unveiled opportunities of the business and investment environment from Moldova, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
„You are everybody welcomed in Moldova. We need more investments in Moldova. Through quality investments, which are to bring expertise, create jobs, generate profit and good salaries, Moldova can see a sustainable economic growth, we can get on the level with the economies of the EU countries,’’ Igor Grosu noted.
The parliament speaker presented the authorities’ actions, aimed at making more attractive the business environment from Moldova and at attracting investors. Among them, there is the digitalization of services for entrepreneurs or the access of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to financing. Also, the state’s policies are oriented to the human capital.
„On the next period, we will have a massive effort of removing the bureaucracy from different sectors of the economy. Thus, we will free as much as possible room for entrepreneurs to be able to develop without sometimes the intimidating presence of the state. We will simplify procedures, we will remove barriers and we will release the economy. We want Moldova to develop and we want this to happen quicker,’’ the parliament speaker stressed.
On 19-20 January, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu pays a working visit to Romania. The speaker had bilateral meetings with President of the Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies Ion-Marcel Ciolacu and Acting President of Romania’s Senate Alina-Stefania Gorghiu. The Moldovan speaker also visited the Patriarchy of Romania, where he had a discussion with Saint Father Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
