About 350 local entrepreneurs to participate in Made in Moldova exhibition

Chisinau, 26 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- About 350 economic agents from our country will participate in the 20th edition of the Made in Moldova exhibition, due on 1-5 February at Moldexpo.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, said today that the participants in the exhibition will exhibit their products on an area of about three thousand square meters, in two pavilions of the Moldexpo center. "After a two-year break, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we are coming back in force with the jubilee edition of the most anticipated exhibition event of the year - the Made in Moldova national exhibition. The 2023 edition is expected to be a large one, thanks to the requests of domestic entrepreneurs to promote their products and services on the national market, but also of Moldovan consumers to be able to purchase quality products at an affordable price", said Harea. He added that around 50-60 thousand visitors are expected at the event.
Among the participants are also 40 local economic agents who are coming to the event for the first time. The exhibition will be located sectorally and according to the activity profile of the companies. So far, business delegations from several countries have confirmed their presence at the event, including Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Japan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Belgium.
During the five days of the exhibition, several events will be organized, including a winemaking forum, Moldova - Romania business forum, round tables, trainings, bilateral meetings.
ODA deputy head Rodica Crudu said that the participants in the exhibition can benefit from compensation of 100% of the participation fee, within the limit of three thousand lei, and subsidies of 50 percent of the cost of the exhibition space, but no more more than five thousand lei.
Made in Moldova is the event that starts the program of each exhibition year in the Republic of Moldova. The main purpose of the exhibition is to support domestic producers, promote competitive products on the domestic and foreign markets, draw investments and boost the public-private dialogue.
