Exhibition dedicated to dynasty of Bessarabian scholars inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition dedicated to a dynasty of Bessarabian scholars was inaugurated at the National Ethnography and Natural History Museum (MNEIN) on 27 January. The exhibition is represented by scholar and teacher Iustin Mihail (1875-1909), who worked in the Cornova village, Ungheni district, priest and historian Paul Mihail (1905-1994), university professor, PhD Zamfira Mihail (born in Chisinau in 1937), reputed philologist, historian of the Romanian culture.
”There are publications from the inter-war and post-war periods, which appeared in Romania and abroad. More editions are accompanied by autographs of famous scientists. The exhibition is completed with photos of the aforementioned personalities, as well as old pictures from Cornova and Chisinau, provided by PhD Vasile Soimaru,’’ MNEIN director Petru Vicol said.
The exhibition will be opened for public till 31 May.
