Holercani residents to have access to water network

Chisinau, 9 Feb. /MOLDPRES/- Residents of Holercani village, Dubăsari district will have tap water. This will be possible after two water castles have been installed in the locality. The project is part of the European Village Program, and for its implementation, the Government invested over 1.7 million lei (about 88 thousand euros) from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development.
After the implementation of the project, over 2700 inhabitants, from 100 households will have access to drinking water. Also, several economic agencies and public institutions in the locality will be connected to the water network.
Attending the event, the director of the National Regional and Local Development Office (ONDRL), Mihail Croitoru, said that having access to drinking water is a fundamental right of every citizen.
According to ONDRL, Dubăsari district benefits from four projects through the European Village Program. Their total value is over 14 million lei. In total, the Program includes 496 projects, of which 76 have already been implemented.
