In the context of the implementation of the parliamentary control function set in the Action Plan for 2023, the Human Rights and Interethnic Relations Commission, at the joint meeting with the independent experts initiated carrying out the ex-post impact assessment of the Law on measures and services for children with deviant behavior.
In carrying out parliamentary control by subjecting the ex-post impact assessment of the normative act, the Commission set as its priority the identification of legislative gaps and the submission of concrete recommendations to the government.
This exercise will be an absolute first for the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and, at the same time, it will serve as a model for taking over good European practices in the parliamentary control, as it involves a thorough evaluation based on analyses, case studies and questionnaires, interviews, focus groups and reference groups etc.
