Council of Europe to provide Moldova with support to promote culture, tourism

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will benefit from support for the implementation of initiatives on the promotion of culture and tourism. The parliament’s commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media today approved a draft on Moldova’s accession to the Council of Europe’s Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes.
Thus, Moldova will benefit from support and assistance for implementing policies for the development of cultural routes. The agreement also provides the certification, Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
The Council of Europe’s Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes has the goal to develop a common cultural area. The document entered into force on 1 January 2011. Presently, the Agreement has 36 member states.
