Chisinau, February 21 /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the Law on Moldova's accession to the Convention on Facilitation of International Maritime Traffic (FAL) were published in the Official Journal and entered into force.

According to the document, with the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Convention, the procedures applied to the arrival/departure of ships from the port will be simplified and digitization and rapid exchange of information between states will be possible. As a result, bureaucratic barriers for the business environment will be removed, and the time spent in the port will no longer be exceeded.

The Convention on Facilitation of International Maritime Traffic (FAL) was adopted in 1965. So far, it has been ratified by 125 states.
