Several buildings in Moldovan capital to be lit up in colors of Ukrainian flag

Chisinau, February 21 /MOLDPRES/- Several buildings in the capital, including the Arc de Triomphe will be illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag on February 23.

At the weekly meeting of Chisinau city hall services, mayor Ion Ceban said that the action is taking place in the context of the one year anniversary of the war in Ukraine on February 24. Thus, several lighting elements will be placed in the Cathedral square and on Grigore Vieru alley.

"We want peace - that's our message. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, I have been with refugees, especially those who were accommodated in the placement centers in Chisinau. At the same time, several children from Ukraine were enrolled in educational institutions in the capital", said Ion Ceban.

Also, in the context of the one-year anniversary of the war in Ukraine on February 24, the municipality will organize the Children for Peace exhibition.
