Almost 3000 cases of COVID-19 recorded last week

Chisinau, February 21 /MOLDPRES/-Last week, 2,834 cases of coronavirus were registered in the country, with more than 1,500 more than the previous week.

According to the Ministry of Health, in the same period, 21,116 tests were performed and 10 deaths were recorded.

Also in the last week, 263 people received their first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 1043 received their third dose. In total, to date, 1,076,152 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.

Starting last July, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. At the same time, it is possible to immunize children who have turned 12 years old.
