Moldovan-Jordanian cooperation in civil protection to be deepened

Chisinau, February 24 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan-Jordanian cooperation in civil protection will be deepened. The decision was taken at a meeting between Minister of Internal Affairs Ana Revenco and Civil Defense Director Hatem Jaber.

According to the press service of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the Jordanian official held discussions with the leadership of the MAI and IGSU in the context of cooperation in the field of disaster prevention, preparation and response.

Minister of the Interior Ana Revenco pointed out the importance of cooperation between countries in the civil protection, as well as preparation for response to emergency situations.

At the same time, the officials approached a possible opportunity to carry out an exchange of experience in the training of subordinates at the training ground for rescuers and firefighters in Jordan. The topics of cooperation in the implementation of applications and the need to obtain new skills and capabilities in the bilateral exchange of experience were highlighted.
