Over 187,000 people benefit from compensated medicines in Moldova in last January

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/ - Over 187,000 people benefited from compensated medicines and medical devices in last January.
According to the National Health Insurances Company (CNAM), most money was allocated for preparations meant for the treatment of the cardiovascular diseases; they are followed by oral anti-diabetes preparations, injectables and insulin analogues and compensated preparations in day hospitals for children (over 4.27 million lei).
CNAM transferred more than 2.3 million lei (about 160,000 euros) for compensated medical devices. As many as 7,730 people benefited from tests for establishing the glucose in blood and 5,072 – from lancets, about 140 patients – from bags for collecting intestinal and urinary stoma.
