Delegation from Taraclia city of Moldova visits Trakia University of Bulgaria

Chisinau, 13 March /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the Taraclia district council have visited the Trakia University (TrU) from the Stara Zagora city of Bulgaria. The delegation of Moldova and the hosts discussed opportunities of cooperation between TrU and the Taraclia district, especially the Grigore Tamblac State University, as the only higher education institution focused on the needs of the Bulgarian community from Moldova, MOLDPRES reports, quoting BTA.          

The delegation was led by the deputy head of the district Council, Alexandru Borimecicov, accompanied by the head of the education, culture and management department, Lilia Sarsaman and Rector of the Grigore Tamblac State University, Maria Paslar.  

Attending the meeting were TrU Rector, professor Dobri Yarkov, the pro-rector for educational activities, professor Neli Grozeva, Dean of the Economy Faculty, university lecturer, professor Blaga Stoykova, etc.      

Neli Grozeva gave the guests national Bulgarian bracelets with red and white threads – Martenitsa, which have the same significance as the Moldovan Martisor.
