Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets Polish delegation

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has discussed with member of Poland’s parliament, deputy president of the foreign policy committee, Paweł Kowal, the former foreign affairs minister of Poland, Jacek Czaputowicz, the head of the Caucasus Foundation, Karol Przywara, programme manager at the Warsaw Security Forum Bartłomiej Kot, assistant of advocacy at the Polaski Foundation, Ihor Havrylyuk, a research director at the same foundation, Tomasz Smura, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
Minister Nicu Popescu offered thanks to the Polish authorities for the support provided to the country’s process of accession to the European Union. Moldova and Poland are close European countries and the consolidation of the dialogue in all sectors of cooperation is the constant concern of the two countries’ diplomats.
The officials discussed also preparations for the Summit of the European Political Community, due to be hosted by Moldova on 1 June 2023.
