Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets executive director of UK's government service

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with Executive Director for Government Communication of the United Kingdom Ale Aiken, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

The officials discussed the importance of the strategic communication, fight against misinformation and developing the capacities of communication of civil servants in the field.

The sides also emphasized the need to develop the audiovisual content at the European standards and back the free and independent media.

In the end, Minister Nicu Popescu thanked the British partners for the support provided to Moldova, including for the organization of the summit of the European Political Community due on 1 June 2023.
