Member of Moldovan Superior Council of Prosecutors resigns

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - Lilia Poting, who was appointed member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) in November 2019 from among civil society members, has submitted an application on resignation. The CSP members accepted her request today.

Lilia Poting was appointed to office on 1 November 2019. She worked at the Promo-Lex association during more years.

According to the Law on the Prosecutor’s Office, the Superior Council of Prosecutors is made up of 13 members. The president of the Superior Council of Magistracy, Justice Minister, Ombudsman and Prosecutor General are, de jure, CSP members.
