National airlines can fly to UK

Chisinau, June 5. /MOLDPRES/- National air operators have been excluded from the safety List of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They will be able to fly to the UK from 31 May 2023.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the English authorities have decided to exclude national air operators from the British Safety List, following the mission to assess our country's capabilities to ensure flight safety oversight, carried out between April 3-7 this year.

In this regard, the United Kingdom's Air Safety Committee, in the May 24 meeting, found that the Republic of Moldova meets the necessary requirements for removal from the United Kingdom's safety list.
