Moldovan state to help farmers improve conditions of lands

Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAIA) informs about the launch of the appeal of submitting applications on asking for subsidy in advance for investment projects on works of land improvements, amelioration and protection of soil.

To ensure the sustainable management of soil resources, the process of submitting applications asking for financing for investment projects on land improvements works is carried out during 12 June -21 July 2023.

Landowners can get support on behalf of the state for the following measures: prevention and combating of soil’s erosion; soils’ chemical amelioration; conservation and enhancement of soils’ fertility. The applicant is to submit the file on asking for the subsidy to the territorial section/service of the Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture, in the area where the applicant will make the investment.
