Head of Moldovan diplomacy to pay working visits to capitals of France and Malta

Chisinau, June 12. /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration pays two working visits to Paris, French Republic and Valletta, Malta, on June 13-16, to deepen the bilateral dialogue, discuss the European agenda and boost the process of our country's accession to EU.
On June 13, Popescu will meet in Paris with French counterpart, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna, the Chair of the Senate European Affairs Committee Jean-Francois Rapin, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Europe, Secretary General for European Affairs Emmanuel Puisais-Jauvin, as well as with other French officials and heads of international organizations, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The Moldovan official will also meet with our diaspora in France. At the same time, he will deliver a speech at a conference dedicated to Moldovan-French relations, in the presence of President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet.
Also, the Moldovan official will pay first official visit to Malta, and will have meetings with Minister for Foreign, European Affairs and Trade Ian Borg, as well as several officials from the Maltese government and parliament.
