Meteorologists forecast variable weather, with rains in Moldova for current week

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/ - The current week will be marked by variable weather and the air temperatures are to change from coolness to heat, with thunderstorm rains in some regions, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.

According to meteorologists, on 13 and 14 June, the air temperatures will increase up to 26 Celsius degrees; yet, the weather will warm as of 15 June. At the same time, the day-time air temperatures will grow up to +30 degrees in the next week-end.

The concerned period is expected to be rainy. Most thunderstorm rains are forecast for the central and northern Moldova; yet, in the southern region, short rains are expected as well.

Also, SHS announced a Yellow Code of fire danger in the northern and central zone. According to meteorologists, on 7-13 June, the exceptional danger of fire (class V), with natural character, is maintained in these regions.
