Validation Centre in agriculture sector inaugurated at Moldova's Centre of Excellence in Vine Growing and Wine Making

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - A Validation Centre in the agriculture sector has been inaugurated at the headquarters of the Centre of Excellence in Vine Growing and Wine Making from Chisinau. The Centre will provide opportunities for the certification and validation of the professional skills.
According to the Education and Research Ministry, citizens from Moldova and of the Diaspora, who gained experience at the place of work or in other contexts of non-formal and informal education in the agriculture field, will benefit from the centre’s services. They will be able to certify the professional skills at the following qualifications: Technology of vegetal products, technology of products got from fermentation, Vine Growing and oenology, Tourism.
„Taking into account the enhanced need of qualified workers in agriculture and the companies’ requirements for staff with certified skills, the inauguration of this centre is meant to support the development of the agricultural sector and encourage workers’ professional growth. The certification of the professional skills facilitates companies’ access to diverse grants and subsidies, providing, at the same time, opportunities of salary increase for employees,’’ the state secretary at the Education and Research Ministry, Galina Rusu, said.
There are 13 Validation Centres in Moldova. They allow certifying the professional skills for 77 professions in diverse sectors, beginning with constructions and energy, up to social assistance and IT. The initiative is meant to supply the labour market with qualified labour force and to contribute to the development of diverse sectors of the national economy.
