Chisinau, June 19. /MOLDPRES/- 9 euro fee for the modernization of the Chisinau International Airport has been reduced by half. It will be 4.5 euros. The new rates will come into effect on July 1. An order to this effect was published in the Official Journal.

The document includes the tariffs for airport services for scheduled flights, for non-scheduled flights and for non-commercial air operations.

On the other hand, the service charge for passengers has been increased from 6.2 euros to 7 euros for regular services and 8.7 euros for non-regular services.

In early April, the authorities announced that the Chisinau International Airport returned to state management. Later, head of state Maia Sandu requested the review of the airport tax of 9 euros per passenger, in order to reduce it as much as possible.
