Moldovan cabinet approves plan of admission to vocational schools, colleges, centres of excellence

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the plan of admission to the 2023-2024 academic year in vocational schools, colleges and centres of excellence.
Thus, 8,267 budgetary financed places are provides for the admission to the secondary vocational schools (vocational schools and centres of excellence). As many as 1,330 of them will be distributed for the training at professional training syllabi through dual education, which is by 10 per cent more against 2022.
The state order for colleges and centres of excellence sees the admission of 3,940 per cent with budgetary financing, of whom 203 for education at professional training syllabi through dual education, which is by 16 places more against the last year.
Education and Research Minister Anatolie Topala has said that, to adjust the educational offer to the labour market’s requirements and enhance the degree of employment of the vocational schools’ graduates, the ministry continues to develop the dual education.
The admission to the vocational education will start on 17 July 2023.
