New cooperation relations between entrepreneurs from Moldova, France

Chisinau, June 22. /MOLDPRES/- Entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova and France met today in Chisinau to set new partnerships, discuss collaboration opportunities and to identify new markets for their products and services.

Entrepreneurs from France came to Moldova to participate in an informative economic mission, which is organized on June 21-24 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), together with the Consulate General of Moldova in Nice, the Chamber of Commerce and Industrie Nice Cote d'Azur and the "Ouest-Est".

CCI head Sergiu Harea said at the opening of the event that the meeting held today in Chisinau represents a new step towards the development of Moldovan-French cooperation relations. "During the last four years, communication on this dimension has not developed, for objective reasons, but now, with the support of our partners, we are trying to straighten things out. Previously, we had productive collaborations with colleagues in Paris and developed joint projects on the Eurochambre platform", Sergiu Harea said.

The entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova present at the event stated that such events are welcome because they help domestic companies to discover new potential business partners, promote their products and services abroad and identify new sales markets.

Attending the event were entrepreneurs from various fields of the economy, including the pharmaceutical sector, security, construction, furniture and hotel equipment manufacturing, machinery and construction materials, consulting services.

The participants were able to discover the investment offer of Moldova presented by the representatives of the Investment Agency, and later they participated in bilateral meetings.
