Moldovan speaker meets MPs from Austria

Chisinau, June 29. /MOLDPRES/-Speaker Igor Grosu discussed with the delegation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Austria - Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus within the Parliament of the Republic of Austria, led by the parliamentarian Helmut Brandstätter.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the discussions referred to how cooperation can be strengthened in key areas such as combating disinformation, as well as drawing investments on various dimensions, such as renewable energy and agricultural production.

The officials pointed out that Austria is a firm ally of the Republic of Moldova in efforts to reform and join the European Union and that it supported the introduction of sanctions against those who destabilize the situation in our country. "We will continue to cooperate, through our institutions, to take over expertise and good governance practices from Austria," said Grosu.
